Our organization is managed by a administrative council. Our Administrative Council strives to envision the future and to ensure operations are aligned with our mission statement and meet the evolving needs of our constituency. Our AdCom currently meets once a month.
DP Harris
DP Harris is the VP/CIO of Loma Linda University. In addition to his duties at the University, he has spent a bit of time in international travel. These trips have given him an appreciation for the richness of the multi-cultural Adventist Church. It has also revealed a disparity among the different countries of the church.
K. Richmond Nugent
Kirk Nugent is an American Technology Innovator/Speaker/Leader with Jamaican roots currently working as CIO for Oakwood University after some years in Southern Africa in Mission service. Richard Henriques
Richard is the Director of Information Systems at Union College in Lincoln NE and joined the AdvenTech project to help enable technical people to contribute to mission of the Adventist Church worldwide.
Luke Pannekoek
Luke is the Information Technology Manager at the South Pacific Division. He is passionate about how we can use technology to connect and engage our members in mission right around the world. He is glad to be a part of AdvenTech because of the potential to establish a community of like-minded Adventist technology professionals willing to contribute their talents to service.
Jesse Johnson
Jesse Johnson is the General Manager and IT Director for It Is Written. Prior to It Is Written, Jesse did quite a bit of international travel and ministry. Jesse has been focused on utilizing edge technologies for evangelism.
Thembinkosi Moyo
Thembinkosi (Thembi) Moyo is the CIO for the Southern Africa-Indian Division. The use of technology in the fulfilling of Mission of the Adventist Church is a passion he holds dear. Having served for 15 years in SID IT, he has noted the great IT needs in the region and is excited by the potential that AdvenTech has in meeting these needs.
